Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are facing a challenge to their dominance of the securities financing market from Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and UBS, according to a survey.

Securities lenders and borrowers were asked by International Securities Finance, an industry journal, to rate their counterparts on factors including innovation, relationship management and market knowledge.
