Leda Braga’s Systematica hedge fund hires two from rivals

Quantitative hedge fund says recruitments follow the launch of several new funds

Systematica Investments, the $8.2bn quant fund led by Leda Braga, the high-profile hedge fund chief executive, has added two executives to its trading and research teams from rival funds.

Egon Ruetsche, one of the three co-founders of Aquila Capital’s systematic trading group, has come on board at Systematica as a research fellow based in the firm’s Geneva office.
