Legal & General Investment Management, one of the biggest shareholders in the Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant Unilever, says it will vote against the company’s attempt to move its headquarters to the Netherlands.

The opposition of LGIM, the company’s fifth-largest shareholder with a stake of around 2.2%, according to Factset data, adds significant momentum to a determined campaign by UK shareholders against the proposed shift.
