The legal watchdog for England and Wales has received at least 41 complaints about non-disclosure agreements being improperly used by solicitors over the past four years.

More than two-thirds of these cases — 28 — which were reported between April 2020 and April 2024 warranted further investigation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, according to the data that was obtained by a Freedom of Information Act request published online.
