Lehman Brothers has appointed Amany Attia, its New York-based head of emerging and exotic securities, as head of structured finance.

Attia, a managing director, has 14 years experience in the asset-backed market, most recently in New York, where she was responsible for developing new asset-backed products. These include collateralised loan obligations and utility stranded cost securitisations, of which Lehman is one of the biggest underwriters.
