Lehman Brothers has boosted its European private equity team with the appointment of Javier Bañón as managing director and co-head of the bank's European merchant banking group.

Bañón joins from DB Capital Partners where he was responsible for private equity investments in Latin America for Deutsche Bank and third party capital.
