Lehman Brothers has promoted two bankers including Richard Atterbury, who joined from Morgan Stanley as co-head of financial sponsors investment banking two years ago, to plug a gap at the helm of its capital markets and leveraged finance business in Europe.
The Wall Street bank has appointed Atterbury and Philippe Dufournier, head of the fixed income solutions group, to co-heads of global finance in Europe, filling the role left vacant after Philip Lynch was last month named co-head of European equities.
