Lehman Brothers has hired Franco Reviglio as a senior adviser to boost the US bank's European business.
Reviglio is currently chairman and managing director of Azienda Energetica Metropolitana Torino, the Italian utility group. He is also a professor of financial science at the University of Turin in Italy. His career has been varied, with positions in Italy including chairman of Italian oil and gas group ENI, minister of finances, member of the municipal council of Turin, minister of the budget and senator. He has also been an International Monetary Fund board member.
