In an effort to broaden their global offering Lehman Brothers, the US-based investment bank, and ANZ Investment Bank, a leading Australian investment bank, have announced an alliance.

Lehman underlined the importance of the alliance with the announcement that it has hired Stevan Lambert as managing director and head of the firm's investment banking and capital markets business in Australia and New Zealand.
