Lehman plucks sixth banker from CSFB

Stuart Upcraft, a managing director at Credit Suisse First Boston, has been poached by Lehman Brothers to head its UK mergers and acquisitions business.

Upcraft was part of the team at CSFB advising Fortune Brands, the US drinks group which is working on a bid for UK rival Allied Domecq with French giant Pernod Ricard. He is expected to join Lehman Brothers in the autumn.
