Lehman poaches Goldman banker for new sales team

Lehman Brothers has poached Marc Jourdren from Goldman Sachs to head up its new generalist sales team, which will sell a range of equity and asset management products to the bank's European clients.

Jourdren will be European head of institutional client sales in the bank's London office. He will report to Daniel Shum, head of wealth asset management for Europe and Asia, and to Mark Rutherford, co-head of European equity sales. He will sit in the equities department although the generalist service will eventually be rolled out across the asset management and fixed income divisions.
