Lehman poaches Goldman's Apffel

Lehman Brothers has poached a managing director from Goldman Sachs in a bid to boost its equity derivatives business in Europe.

Arnaud Apffel has been appointed as a managing director in Lehman's investment banking division. He will become co-head of its European equity corporate derivatives alongside Marco di Prima, who joined from JP Morgan last summer.
