Lehman removes top executives

Lehman Brothers has removed Erin Callan, chief financial officer for just six months, and chief operating officer Joseph Gregory from their positions days after revealing its first quarterly loss as a public company.

Herbert McDade will replace Gregory as president and chief operating officer and Ian Lowitt will become chief financial officer with immediate effect according to a statement from the bank.
