Lehman Brothers has won its first FTSE 100 corporate broking mandate after being hired as joint broker by UK banking group Lloyds TSB following a two-month beauty parade.

Financial News revealed in April that Lloyds TSB was inviting one of its advisers, Hoare Govett, to re-pitch for the role and had put out a tender to several houses.
