Lex Greensill, founder of the eponymous supply chain finance firm Greensill Capital, apologised for the company's collapse and took full responsibility for its demise, in front of MPs.

His apology though did little to dampen a round of intense questioning during an 11 May Treasury Committee hearing into the collapse of his firm — the former banker was asked by Labour MP Siobhain McDonagh if he was a "fraudster".
