The head of fixed income sales for one of the UK's largest asset managers has joined a US-based credit specialist to expand outside its home market.

Simon Males, head of global fixed income distribution at Legal & General Investment Management, has joined Muzinich & Co in a newly-created role as head of its institutional business.
