LGIM chief: We take whistleblower concerns ‘extremely seriously’

The chief executive of Legal & General Investment Management has responded to whistleblowers’ allegations of a “toxic culture” at the fund manager by saying its employees would not recognise this image of the group.

In a note to clients on Thursday seen by Financial News, which followed a July 31 report from the Financial Times on the whistleblowers’ concerns, Mark Zinkula wrote that LGIM was nonetheless taking the matter “extremely seriously”.
