Departure of senior exec at UK's largest asset manager comes less than four years after he joined from Standard Life Investments

Legal & General Investment Management’s head of equities is leaving the UK’s largest asset manager less than four years after joining from Standard Life Investments.

Lance Phillips is to depart the manager, which had assets totalling £841.5 billion at the end of June, the firm confirmed in a statement on October 26. His responsibilities will be assumed by other senior members of the team.
