Jonathan Taylor is to be the next director general of the London Investment Banking Association, replacing Sir Adam Ridley, who steps down after nearly six years in the post.

Taylor will take up the position on November 1, but Ridley will continue to work part-time at LIBA while Taylor assumes his role.
