Library House, a new research firm based in Cambridge that opened its doors last week, has already signed up several big names in the European venture capital (VC) community.

The firm is offering a comprehensive database tracking every start-up in the Cambridge area, and investment firms including Atlas Ventures, Soffinova, Quester, Siemens' venture unit, IDG Ventures, UBS Warburg, Close Brothers and Cazenove are subscribers.
