Life After the City: Ben Wright

The former corporate lawyer at Allen & Overy is the founder and MD of oyster farming, wholesale and restaurant business Wright Brothers

He used to be a lawyer in the corporate department at Allen & Overy, now he is founder and managing director of oyster farming, wholesale and restaurant business Wright Brothers.

"The seed of an idea was planted long ago when I met a friend while studying in France who was an oyster farmer, but the spark that inspired me to set up the business came years later, when I was working for Allen & Overy in Paris and my friend asked for my help in the acquisition of an oyster farm in Jersey, which gave me the opportunity to experience the business of oyster-farming first-hand.
