Linklaters London corporate partner Sarah Flaherty has quit to join US law firm Weil Gotshal & Manges in London, the latest exit from the Magic Circle firm’s M&A ranks.

Rising star Flaherty spent two years on secondment at merger regulator The Takeover Panel, and was also previously seconded to commodities and mining giant Glencore.
