LionTree, the technology, media and telecoms-focused investment and merchant banking boutique co-founded by a former UBS dealmaker, has opened its first continental European office in Paris.

The firm, which was set up by UBS's former Americas investment banking head Aryah Bourkoff in 2012, said in a statement on January 19 it has opened a French office, complementing its existing bases in New York, San Francisco and London.
