Liontrust appoints new chair following GAM deal failure

The UK-listed asset manager has named financial services veteran Luke Savage as Alastair Barbour’s successor

Liontrust, the London-listed fund management group, has appointed a new chair to replace long-standing board member Alastair Barbour.

Luke Savage will be appointed chair with effect from 20 September, the company told the stock market on 18 July.
