UK-listed fund management firm Liontrust has made two hires to boost its unit trust sales team, and has also hired a head of risk management.

Mickey Morrisey joins from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where he established third-party distribution services. Morrisey will perform a similar role at Liontrust, enhancing unit trust distribution links with insurance firms, independent financial advisers and other third parties.
