Liquidity concerns emerge over Verizon blowout

Record interest in Verizon Communication’s forthcoming bond deal is raising concerns that illiquid trading markets will be unable to support the deal.

With at least $100 billion of interest from investors, market participants say they now expect Verizon to raise as much as $50 billion of bonds.
