Listings to rejuvenate LSE

Two east European-based companies today breathed life back into the London Stock Exchange after announcing initial public offerings worth over $100m (€63.4m).

Kazakh-oil producer ZhaikMunai this morning raised $100m of global depositary receipts on the London exchange, after delaying a $760m London offering last year. The company priced GDRs at $10 apiece, giving the group a valuation of about $1.1bn.
