Bankers working from home could be forced to divulge personal details of who they live with, to help firms guard against any breach of confidential company information.

From simply overhearing a flatmate or partner’s work-related conversations to accidentally happening upon company plans tossed in the waste — these are all among the risk that firms may have to consider as they grapple with the perils of staff working away from the office.
