Conservative leadership front-runner Liz Truss is considering plans to merge three of the City's key financial regulators, according to reports.

The Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority, and Payment Systems Regulator could all be folded into one organisation, the Financial Timeswrites, citing campaign insiders.
