The UK government is reported to be in planning mode to persuade SoftBank executives to list Cambridge-based tech firm Arm in the UK.

The move, led by prime minister Liz Truss and chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, will kick off after the period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth has ended, the Financial Times reported, according to people familiar with the matter.
