LJH Global Investments, a fund-of-funds group specialising in hedge funds and private equity, has hired Marc Mediratta from Newton Investment Management.

Mediratta, who was a research analyst at Newton (now part of Mellon Global Investments), joins the new London operation of LJH as vice-president of research.
