UK banking group Lloyds is poised to pay £140m to end a legal dispute with Standard Life Aberdeen over the future of a multibillion-pound asset management mandate.

The settlement, expected to be finalised later this week, will conclude an 18-month battle between the two financial institutions, Sky Newsreports.
