LME signs up DTCC for trade reporting

Metal bourse chooses Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation to store derivatives trading data ahead of new European reporting rules

The London Metal Exchange has chosen the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation to store its derivatives trading data ahead of new European reporting rules that come into force in February.

The LME announced today that it will partner with DTCC, an approved trade repository, to deliver LMEwire, the bourse's new reporting service.
