The London Metal Exchange has published its decision that it will go through with proposed over-the-counter contract reporting requirements as the exchange seeks to restore accountability and confidence.

The new rules, which take effect on 18 July, will require traders and other market participants to disclose, on a weekly basis, contracts of physically deliverable metals that trade on the LME but which are conducted over-the-counter.
