The London Metal Exchange’s group general counsel and head of enforcement Tom Hine will step down at the end of January.

Before announcing his departure, Hine had taken a period of extended leave from September to the end of 2022, the LME said in a statement. During that period, the LME Group legal management team took over Hine’s responsibilities and will continue to do so following his departure. The LME said it would communicate further changes “at the appropriate time”.
