Prime Minister Boris Johnson will set out his roadmap today to ease pandemic restrictions that have been in force for the country’s third national lockdown, with steps that will include a four-test measure for whether the country would be ready for an easement of the rules.

In a 22 February press statement, Number 10 said the cabinet will meet later this morning to discuss the plan, with the Prime Minister issuing a statement on it in the Commons this afternoon, followed by an evening televised press conference.
