LogicaCMG axes 800 jobs to cut costs

LogicaCMG, the merged Anglo-Dutch technology and mobile telecommunications consultancy, is set to cut a further 800 jobs this year as it continues its cost savings programme.

Around 1,000 jobs have already been axed since Logica and CMG merged in July 2002. The latest round of redundancies are part of a planned 2,200-strong post-merger cull.
