Lombard Odier spins off life science team

Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch, a Swiss-based private bank, is restructuring its private investments in life science by setting up a new company, Ultreia Capital.

The move follows the recent merger of Lombard Odier with local rival Darier Hentsch earlier this year. Patrick Odier, a managing partner, said its life science investments were doing well in a corner of the market which has stood up well against other early stage and technology sectors, particularly in fundraising.
