London council puts Schroder, Merrill under review

The London Borough of Redbridge's £240m (€376m) pension fund has placed its fund managers, Schroder Investment Management and Merrill Lynch Global Asset Management, under review.

Schroder and Merrill Lynch have acted as its managers for the last five years and have been placed under review because of the best value regime. The fund is looking for managers for its two £120m balanced mandates.
