London fund manager Jupiter begins push into the US

New Denver sales office – the firm's first in North American – follows tie-up with former Janus Henderson portfolio managers late last year

London investment firm Jupiter Asset Management is opening its first sales office in the US, following through on its tie-up with a pair of former Janus Henderson fund managers late last year.

Jupiter has recruited the former head of North America sales for Allianz Global Investors, Taylor Carrington, to lead its new office based in Denver, Colorado. Joining him will be Tracy Pike, who was previously head of sub-advisor oversight at Charles Schwab Investment Management, a well-known US retail brand.
