When news of the talks between the London Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse first broke nearly a month ago, the exchange groups had just one named adviser each. The advisory roster has since spiralled, with the list of bankers involved resembling a City who's who.
When the exchanges were forced to confirm their talks on February 23, just Robey Warshaw in the case of the LSE and Perella Weinberg Partners in the case of Deutsche Börse were named as lead advisers, but Financial News has since reported the exchanges were on the lookout for more big-bank recruits as advisers.
