Lord Hill returns for a second grilling in front of a committee of the European Parliament tomorrow afternoon, with no certainty he can get its approval.

Hill is slated to be in charge of financial regulation in the new European Commission under President Jean-Claude Juncker, but opponents assert Hill has limited knowledge of finance and will promote the interests of London rather than all Europe.
