Keith Shepherd, the head of investments and treasury at the £2bn (€3.3bn) City of Edinburgh Council Lothian pension fund, is leaving his role at the UK fund.

Shepherd, renowned and respected in the industry for investment management approach and use of specialist managers reviewed on a regular basis, has led the fund in achieving impressive performance numbers for many years.
