Lower valuation for Crédit Agricole spin-off

Crédit Agricole, the largest bank in France, is expected to value the parts of its business which will float next year in Paris at between €20bn to €25bn ($16.8bn to $21bn), according to banking sources in Paris.

This is at the bottom end of early expectations, which had indicated that the quoted vehicle could be worth as much as €35bn of even €40bn.
