Lloyds holds first close on UK infra fund

The success comes as the bank continues to support infrastructure despite cutbacks elsewhere

Lloyds Banking Group has held a first close on its latest infrastructure fund, its second such vehicle to successfully reach the milestone this year, as the bank continues to support infrastructure despite cutbacks elsewhere.

According to a spokesman for the bank, Lloyds has held a first close of £150m on its latest fund - Lloyds Bank UK Infrastructure Partners - from a number of institutional investors including the European Investment Bank.
