A capital markets unit within the London Stock Exchange shrank by 52 staff last year, as the City looks to turn the tide on a prolonged drought of listings.

The bourse employed a monthly average of 109 staff in a unit labelled “capital markets” in 2024, according to newly published registry filings for London Stock Exchange Plc.
