LSE discloses year-long OFT probe into listing fee rise

The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has disclosed for the first time that the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) is investigating its decision in April 2002 to raise listing fees by around 30%. The investigation has been going on for more than a year.

The OFT received complaints about the fee increases in January 2002 and launched an investigation in August last year.
