LSE hires Crédit Agricole executive for top UK clearing role

The London Stock Exchange’s majority-owned clearing house has hired the deputy chief executive of Crédit Agricole’s corporate and investment banking business to lead its UK arm.

Isabelle Girolami will become chief executive of LCH Ltd on November 1, the wider LCH group said on July 25. Girolami, who was one of Financial News’s 100 most influential women in European finance in 2018 and 2017, will replace Martin Pluves, who is stepping down at the end of July.
