The London Stock Exchange Group has introduced an online private placement platform for high-growth companies to raise capital from professional and institutional investors, in a key addition to its Elite business support programme.

Luca Peyrano, chief executive officer of Elite, told Financial News the new platform could be the "single most important move" since the programme was launched in 2012.
