Strong volume growth at international clearing house LCH.Clearnet is expected to buoy first-half revenues at the London Stock Exchange.

The LSE today reported activity across its trading, clearing and other businesses for the five months to August 31. The figures were published ahead of the exchange's first-half results in November, which will cover the six months to September 30.
